Hoffmann H 36 Dimona
The Hoffman H 36 Dimona is a two seat motor glider, built in laminated Epoxy. These all plastics fabricated motor gliders are known to as third generation. These motor gliders came to the marked beginning the 1980’s. Wolf Hoffmann in Germany originally made the Dimona. The company Fa. Hoffmann GmbH in Vienna / Austria however build this motor glider. The laminated epoxy fuselage has a rounded form that was very slender behind the cockpit. The wing, elevator and rudder where all laminated epoxy constructions. To establish a controlled glide path for landing the upper side of the wing has Schempp-Hirth airbrakes. For storage the wing can be folded back to the fuselage. It has a two wheel covered landing gear with steerable tail wheel.
