  1. if you have a screen grab tool for your computer you can capture them with that
  2. Place your cursor over the thumbnail, right click and select "Open Image in New Window". In the address bar of the new window delete "thumbs/" from the address line, hit Return on the keyboard and the full size image will load

A timely lesson
submitted by Dave Stokes

Hope this never happens here but fear that it is just a matter of time, as with the weight and speed with which our models are capable it is just a matter of the right place and time!

So - don't forget when flying always fly safe.

If you want to see this.....

...then you will have to come to the TVSA Middle Wallop event on June 17th and 18th.

The builder Keith Boseley says:
My half scale K3 is based on a Cliff Charlsworth plan but with many modifications because of the size, it is the second one I have built as the first was 1/3 scale and ended up crashing into a pig pen, the only building in the field.

In the meantime here are a set of photos to whet your appetite and a link to further building shots

Up & Go system for 1:2.3 scale

Noël Rumers has been working on his own system for a DG400 and has sent in these photos with a short explanation and an offer to write an article for us, so read on

I just finished the motor installation for a DG400 scaled to 1/2.3 with a ZG26 and Fema onboard starter system. It will be a long story and I have already finished the project in the test stand.
This has taken most of the time so far.
I would like to publish The ASK retract system and this motor system onto the site. The article could contain drawings or sketches how I made the thing.
It would be something different to the known electric things and still controllable for costs and building technique and you would have something you have dreamed off all the time, I think...
I need first to do some testing and then I would be ready to publish.
Would this be a good idea? After all in the UK and elsewhere are still good craftsmen, iare there not?
I could always support the builders by photographs and small parts if they like.
