I have been happily using analogue servos since 1971, now digital servos have raised their ugly head and I would really like you good folk to try and convince me just why I should make the change. I have recently tried to buy some good old 341s to no avail. Do please do your very best to enlighten me chaps.
Cheers,
Chris.

Re: Servos
Hi Chris,
I also needed to learn more about analog versus digital and have found a very useful thread on RC Groups.

The Futaba pdf on the subject is also very informative - link in thread.

Eric

Re: Servos
Pleased to be of assistance - we all need help every now and then.
On my speedier gliders, I have digitals on the primary control surfaces but on the slower airframes analogs are perfectly OK . . . and it saves me a bit of dosh. My ASH 25 has 10 servos in the wings, 6 of which are digital, and of the remaining 7 in the fuselage only 2 are digital . . . got to try and keep the current consumption down!
