Rcme article

Post by Elliot Howells »

Hi Guys,

As part of moving house, I had to dispose of my piles of model mags, I'd really like to give a friend a copy of the aerotowing 2 parter I wrote - don't suppose anyone could scan it for me, published about a year or so ago - on the cover it says 'tow teach in'.

Thanks in advance. Ell :)

Hi Elliot,
Have you thought about contacting David Ashby, the Editor of the RCM&E to ask him to send you a copy of the text that you created?
I was flying with him this morning on the slope at Maidstone and he is a very pleasant chap whom I'm sure will help you with your request if he can.
Regards
Eric

Hi guys,

It's May and June 2016 issues, I still have my text but the rcm&e formatting that really polishes it up.

I might order back issues if I can't get scans, I'll keep you posted Vince.

FWIW . . a digital subscription will give you and your friend access to ALL their archives. Much cheaper than printed versions. But you will have to buy the free plans
I have a printed sub only and I don't give my magazines away for anything . . ."mags or me?" bye bye dear, :D :D

BTW, very good articles, well done.

Hi Elliot and Vince

I have found Pt1 and have emailed it to you both. Hopefully I can find Pt2 and send that in a bit.

I tend to tear out the bits I might be interested in for the future. Always need as much help as I can get :-)

Chaps, I'll drop David Ashby a line and see what their position is with regard to copyright... I'd guess they'd want to keep their own stuff for their website, don't think this stop's me sharing the text though?

It would be nice to share the article as printed, David and co have picked some great accompanying shots.

Thanks again, Ell.

Normally, as long as you acknowledge them they are happy. However better to ask.
