We had been arguing this point from the getgo.......the FAA did not have the authority to impose new rules on models.........I'm glad the judge told them to pound sand.......

However see posts 51 to 53 on the above link - as said there, all they have done is to awake a sleeping giant as the FAA is determined to get some sort of registration and regulation in place and it's most probably going to be tougher.

I believe that the BMFA and other model flying bodies in the UK are doing the best thing by having regular face-to-face meetings with the CAA to negotiate a sensible path forward in the face of the forthcoming implementation of the EASA regulations in the UK. See page 39 of the latest BMFA News.

FAA can't do a damn thing......but Congress.....now they can make new rules and regulation that either change the 2012 law or impose something far worse......
