Plastic tube

Post by Elliot Howells »

Hive mind!

Following my elsewhere documented LET models retract travails, I'm fixing the retract door, what got broke.

I need some very small plastic tube to use as hinging, the old stuff got torn off. I've tried using wd40 applicator but it's not a plastic that adheres with zap cyano, in times past I've had stocks of outer and other stuff that would have functioned, just nothing since we moved. Ironically I chucked out a load of control stuff from an aeronaut shk kit which was surplus to requirements not that long ago...

So, my question is, what's it called and where can I get it please? The wire inner is something like 1mm

Ta, Ell.

Elliot,
Have you thought of small bore brass tube.
Don't know how well it sticks with cyano though.
