Both wings now have flaps and Ailerons removed ready for hinging and pushrod set up,
Small change in plan, my original plan was to bottom hinge the flap and top hinge the aileron, well the flaps are still going with that plan but Im going to go back to giant Robart for the ailerons as Dumbass me forgot to take into account that because of the change in section in line with the plan form the hinge line is only straight at zero deflection, so my plan now is to make thin glass fairings for the hinge gap as I didn't forsee this problem, when I built in the structure of the ailerons and drag spar,
any way the plan is to now re-bevel the aileron leading edge ready for the hinge points then fill the gap temporarily with balsa, then use Packing tape up to the hinge line before laying a thin layer of glass and resin over the area that I can trim back after cured.
(hope that makes sense)
