Yes ,I agree that it's a bit short on the actual point of maintaining the brakes.
I found the clip while looking for more info on spoiler issues. My spoilers were catching slightly when I closed them and I struggled to work out why. After a whole weekend of taking the damned thing in and out I figguered out that the 2 block that they were screwed into were slightly twisted, or not on the same plane. So I set the brakes back into their slot on a little bit of wet car body bog without any screws, and let it set. Then screwed the brakes back in place. They now work just fine.
