Simple wood strip steamer

All the instructions are in the photos on how to convert a wallpaper stripper to a wood strip steamer. You can add a proper blanking end to one end if you need to steam individual strips or as it is to slide along a construction in progress and steam a section of your strip. Block both ends with soft paper and start steaming.

Just carried out my first two bends. Left them cooking for 15 minutes and they bent nicely.

Great minds .... Vince.
I used a similar method (without the neat wallpaper stripper pipe connector) when I needed to steam some stringers for my Olympia.
For others using this method, please note that the steam heat will cause a pipe of any length to sag if inclined at an angle and not supported much along its length. The sag will then set when the tube cools down.
