Scale Soaring is Fun

Hello everyone,

Just joined on the advice of a friend over at another forum. Just started thinking about getting into scale sailplanes, I've been in RC for about 20 years now, most of that being sport slope soaring, with a bit of IC thrown in here and there.

Moved to Norfolk a couple of years back and I've now found a decent slope site (see pic...) so I'm back in the game.
33 years old, engineer/technician working in the water industry, stuck in a small flat with no building space, but moving in April to a place with a handy spare room which will be ideal.
At the moment, I'm toying with an idea for a smallish scale (between 2m and 3m) sailplane, possibly 2, as I would like both a "vintage" style model and a "glass slipper"
Glad to be aboard and looking forward to getting to know a few folks.
Cheers

Matt

I agree.  Looks like that slope has some serious sink.

Pleased to see you on t'other side of the pond Matt.

Best wishes,

Rog
