Props and towlines - remember Murphy's Law:
"If something bad CAN happen, sooner or later it WILL happen"

Even if you can guarantee to keep lines and prop separate, if you are talking about a potential fullsize tug using a 2 part bridle, there are several Airworthiness considerations to overcome. Tug pilots may be reluctant to fly a machine where the glider has huge authority in the tug's Yaw axis or to fly something where the only control of direction when towing is achieved after rotation in the Roll axis - therefore totally lacking during the takeoff run. The remote probability of only one leg's release working if the tug has to dump the glider must also be considered.

Worth a try; It would probably work acceptably well on a model towing combination. (but never fly anything that you are not prepared to take home in a plastic bag !) Let us know how the project goes.
