THE SUPER DINKY GREENLEY
Motley & I have put together a 72% scale model of BC's Greenley for the purpose of towing up the 5th scale gliders... Maiden flight today was successful, and it looks like 3 tows to 500' are just about obtainable with 2 x 2200 3s's ganged to 6s. Motor is a Turnigy G60. The wing is one-piece, and built with the I-spar method...

These smaller scale gliders are so practicle and what a great idea to build a smaller tug for them. Are you going to release plans later these year for the Petrel & Flamingo.

Re: THE SUPER DINKY GREENLEY
Well done Geoff and Chris.
Just to remind anyone interested, there is already a plan available for a 72" span Greenley designed for Electric, although several have been build with DLE 20's for power. Its called an Ampley.
Free to download plans can be found on the Ghost Squadron website and a set of cut parts is available.

Jus, the Petrel plan is due to be published in RCM&E in the coming months... One way or another, there will be a drawing for the Flamingo

Re: THE SUPER DINKY GREENLEY
Very nice, looks like the Super Dinky doesn't have flaps, is that correct?

Re: THE SUPER DINKY GREENLEY
It's about the same weight and size a yours?? It does have less power, but power has very little weight.
