I've been trying to make the milling vice work on my lathe to try and do this sort of thing, not having much success...

Getting the bottom of the legs at the correct angle needs a more muscular setup I'm sure, perhaps even an actual milling machine.

Have you seen Steve Davis' wilga? Pure craftsmanship.

Hi Elliot

I made the bottoms of the undercarriage legs for Darren's Wilga and yes they were made on a vertical milling machine after first turning the legs to size on a lathe. The trick is to make good jigs to hold the piece at the correct angles before machining.

Have started building Bondies 30% Wilga and was wondering if anyone one this forum has a source for the bubbled clear doors and maybe premade cockpit install. Panel and seats!!
