Just been up on a gliding lesson, thought you might be interested in their new tug. Eurofox, (10 in country) £54K + tow fitting etc. It towed the ASK 13 up at 60 knots. They couldn't get spares for their Auster so have set the club up with this for a number of years.

Also available with tricyle U/C, this one belongs to Rattlesden Gliding Club and has made a dramatic reduction in the cost of aerotows :D

Did you note the curved end or fence to the prop?

I did wonder when I first saw it, the consensus of opinion at the club is that it helps keep prop noise down. Compared with the visiting Pawnee that was with us recently the Eurofox is virtually silent.
