Edelweiss
Edelweiss
The last entry in this thread was a while back... winter, life and a few other things have conspired to delay the maiden of Iain's Edelweiss.
See http://scalesoaring.co.uk/cgi-bin/yabb2 ... 1252259951
Today was too good an opportunity to miss, westerly 20mph and sunny, so it was off to the Mynd. A nice tribute to Iain's design and build, it flew out straight and level and I soon felt very comfortable at the controls.
Here are a couple of pics, will upload more when I receive some more from Mr C. Who was camera man for the day.

Re: Edelweiss
Frankie,
Iain made some very nice moulds but I am not sure what happened to them... See his early entries for the thread. I have moulds for the fuz hatches as these I needed to make. I don't know if anyone else knows where the fuz moulds ended up. It would be a shame not to use them.

Chris,
I follow his thread very carefully before you finish it. It will be really shame, if they wouldn't be found... I hope that are just hidden somewhere...
Good luck with finding

Re: Edelweiss
I spoke to Simon Cocker again last week. Apparently the photos will be published in an article in RCM&E, so watch out for that.
