Great work Chris..Looking really good.

How many hours does it take you to complete a build of this size?

I never keep track of the hours, but this is my fifth project this year... :P

With the top sheeting added, the wings are now fixed in their final shape...(gulp!)

Do you make the incidence adjustable Chris?

No, the incidence is fixed at 1.5-2 degrees positive to the tailplane, and then the wing root fairings are made up to match

He has done variable dihedral before. It did not end well. It went, Anhedral, Dihedral, Bang...

Getting close the difficult bit now...fitting the wings to the fuselage. In the interests of Full Disclosure, and to avoid the sensibilities of Inspector Flewseau, the wings will not be attached to the fuselage in the same manner as the full size... ;)

Meanwhile, it's time to face off the wing roots and make up identical root facings for the fuselage... The best way (IMHO) is to make up ply blanks, cut out the joiner slot and incidence peg hole, offer up to the wing, draw around and cut out.

The first wing is set up relative to the tailplane, then the wings checked to ensure they are parallel to the tailplane. Removing part of the ply on the fuselage proved to be the simplest way to get the wing joiner box in position...
