Moving on the the canopy... The starboard rail is hinged up first, and the canopy frame built up around it. The Slingsby style hinges are super for quick fitting & removal of the canopy during the build process...

Lacking detail, I opted to make the rear of the canopy similar to that of the red Petrel. The Flamingo canopy has an almost perfect profile match to the fuselage...

He's been a Grandad (x5) for some years now. That is why he is having his 70th birthday when he is actually only 64.
