Moving on the the canopy... The starboard rail is hinged up first, and the canopy frame built up around it. The Slingsby style hinges are super for quick fitting & removal of the canopy during the build process...

Lacking detail, I opted to make the rear of the canopy similar to that of the red Petrel. The Flamingo canopy has an almost perfect profile match to the fuselage...

Dragged, kicking and screaming to my birthday celebration this evening... What a surprise: a cake with Minimoa on top!
