Bob beefed up the retractable landing gear mount. He felt it would take a beating on landing and would be difficult to repair.

"Be civil and kind or the moderator will send you a bugar in the mail! "
Another feature of a common language, separated by the Atlantic ? What on earth is a bugar ? I would hate to be bugared by a moderator. :o
Reminds me of a Yankee exchange pilot we had one year who blanched when he saw "faggots" on the Somerset pub menu !

Watching this build with great interest. Keep up the blog.

Buger...bogie..rolled up snot...First time my missus said it, I had to patiently explain she was wrong. After a week my left eye began to open. ;)
To err is human, to leave home without the wing joiners is sheer stupidity.

Well guys, this so far is a culmination of 28.25 hours. I am keeping a building log. I'm sure, hopeful, it will be shorter when I have a manual for the build. I hope it's not too windy as I tend to try and include too many thoughts.
I don't know about 'tend' as this is my first. There is a lot of sitting and thinking.
One thing I should have done in the beginning and finally did day before yesterday was sit down and go through the parts list piece by piece. It's hard to find all these little parts if they aren't grouped together. Probably a couple of hundred parts here.
That's all for now gents.
More later.
