Scale Soaring UK

I supplied the kit of the Jilles Smits 1/3 scale Petrel to Brian Gowland. I have just been sent photos of the build so far to post for him. Brian is building the fixed tailplane version of the aircraft whilst Jack is building the AMT version in another thread here: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=2716.

Looking good brian ...,l hope to finish the top skin on my version this week and get the fuz off the board and turned over to do the underside,pics are imminent!!..jack

Thanks for that Jack, looking forward to seeing how you tackle the wing sheeting. you know Jack I find the hardest part of the build involves posting the pics, good job we've Cliff at hand.

Greetings from down under. I have built a couple of Jilles gliders. The Ask 18 and the Pws 101 and both were excellent kits and both fly very nicely and im sure your Petrel will be the same. Nice to see some nice green Nth Wales country side again.
