MU 13e BERGFALKE 1 QUARTER SCALE**

This plan was first published in FSM back at the turn of the century. Some years later, I updated it and built a new version, using the old plan on which to build it. This is the chronicle of the later build for anyone interested in building one...

Note: the fuselage is constructed on a jig: the pics show it after it has been removed...

The ply fuselage sheeting was reduced from the 1.5mm of the original to .8mm. In retrospect, the lightening holes were pretty much a waste of time...!

Half-round Ramin strip seems to be gone from the shelves these days: apparently Ramin has become one of the endangered species...

Lovely, thanks Chris.

From the photos it looks like the wing joiner box sits flush to the former but the plans show it angled back .

No way I can remember what I did back then, Adam...! Just set the joiner box in such a way as to achieve the correct angle.

Compared to some the older vintage gliders, the canopy on this one is relatively straightforward...
