If you're short of space, then the 7th scale Wolf might be the answer...?

Hi all
I've just purchased the the plans and short kit. Looking at the plans, am I right in thinking that the coupling between the centre wing section to the outer wings is friction based using piano wire and brass tubing?

Regards

Mark

What most would do is put the wing together and then a strip of tape over the joint. There are so many different methods for holding wings together. I am sure that members will offer their own views on this subject.

Yes, at this scale, tape is the ideal solution. However, when I did the same thing on the 3.5 scale version, the tape was too strong, and catching an obstacle on its first landing, the centre section was written off as there was no give in the system. This goes to show that the principle of flexibility in a wing retention system is important!
