qx7 programming
Evening all, does anyone know how to go about setting up the qx7 to operate the gear doors and gear from the two position switch on the top left of the tx?,l want to open the doors-extend the gear and leave the doors open, then reverse the procedure to retract the gear....the doors will be on one channel and the gear on another, but l don't know how to mix the two together on one switch ,there will need to be a delay between:doors open, gear extend/gear retract, doors closed...l know l could just have the gear push the doors open with a spring system to close them, but l don't really like that method,or am l just barking up the wrong tree ,maybe what l want to do just isn't possible, can anyone help ,this gear is going in the 1/3 Pilatus, cheers guys, jack.

Jaxk,
E-mail me modelgliding [at] aol.com, if you need more help.
These are the mixes you need. I have put the doors on CH-7, and the Wheel on Ch-8. The source is SF which is the switch you want. The delays at the bottom, will give the the sequence. There is a bit of setting up. Plug in the door servo, and operate the switch. If the open and closed positions are not where you want them relative to the switch. Change the "Weight " to -100. You need the delay when you close the door, if it is when you open the door, change the delay from up to down. When you have this correct, open the doors, and unplug the servo. Plug in the wheel, and repeat all this until the wheel works correctly, then you can plug the doors back in, and all should be well.
If you have the vario unit on board, we can make the wheel go up and down automatically.....
