None FrSky Rx with Taranis?

Post by StephenB »

I have a Taranis with a few FrSky receivers but I'd have more if they were cheap as chips, which I believe some other brands are (Lemon)? I'm looking for basic four channel units that will work with my X9D plus, anyone know if it's do-able?

Thanks for the prompt response Cliff, I had a feeling someone would say that :D

So these Lemon (other brands may be available) at ten to fifteen quid aren't compatible with Taranis?? I wouldn't put one in a half decent model but I'm going to be knocking up some foam board models (Flite Test plans) as general hacks to use in my walk to across the road flying field, models I view as dispensible and will be flown accordingly

I think Lemon don't do Frsky compatibles, but Banggood do these https://www.banggood.com/2_4G-4CH-Mini- ... rehouse=CN

Could be worth a try.

Thanks Frank, they are indeed cheap as chips - £6 each!

The only thing to watch is what firmware they come with, if they come with International and your Tx is EU LBT they may not work.
