wing wheel assy

Post by Paul Chisholm »

Has any body built a wing wheel attachment to allow towing of large sailplanes out to the flight line to avoid having to carry?
Photos ? Plans ? etc :P

Hi Paul
You can buy them from LET models. Have a look on their site.

Hi Paul,
Lawrie P here from down under.
Here is my version of a wing wheel which i have cobbled together from bits and pieces i already had in the shed. Its not very pretty but who cares. It works and that's all that matters. I gave it a field test today when i maidened my new Petrel from Jilles plan.
Cheers.
