Things do go wrong as this sequence of images show. Shortly after the last picture I left the scene heading North at a rapid rate. The ASK18 model inverted and came down where I had been standing. Happily, just a little damage to the nose.

Due to stubborn non-compliance by the weather forecasters, tomorrow's scale fly-in is OFF... attention moves to the backup date June 2nd

(At the risk of unpopularity).

Perfect, that means I don't have to dash to Mere early and leave part way through so I can watch the F1. Even better, there’s no race on June 2nd either! Every cloud as they say!

Tomorrow's Scale Fly-In is OFF, due to the Scale Sec's dislike of getting wet...!

Does this sound familiar...? Due to non-compliant forecasts, Sunday's Scale Fly-In is OFF

Not long to wait for the backup, though...It's next Sunday the 30th

Thanks to a forecast that, remarkably, is less-than-awful, tomorrow's White Scale Fly In is ON!

Just a quick note: due to the high turnout last time around, t'management have reluctantly decided that scale models only will be flown. This, of course, includes PSS models...

That’s a shame Chris.
I would not be happy chucking either of my scale ships off
WhiteSheet without flying something less expensive to test the lift etc.
Have a lovely Scale only day I’m going to have to stay at home!
