I just wanted to say many thanks to John G and the whole Ghost Squadron team for organising this excellent event. Unfortunately I was only able to go on the Sunday but had a wonderful day. Looking forward to next year!

I also flew on Sunday at the Buckminster Aerotow. Wow, what a beautifully run event by the Ghost Squadron on a fantastic site. Thanks John G and team. Regards John.

Great weekend in spite of the cold & wind on Saturday (but the thermals were very powerful even if they did go downwind rather quickly). Sunday was fantastic, with a lot of lift - over 2 1/2 hours of gliding in two flights (and a stiff neck) flying the DG-600. Excellent turnout on Sunday. Great to bump into some old friends who I haven’t seen since the mid-90s: Mike Francies flying his Paritech Nimbus, and Tony Beckett, who is local and was ‘just visiting’

As always, bIg thanks to all of the Ghost Squadron Guys who made it run efficiently and safely, and to Manny and folks at Buckminster, for the immaculate field and facilities.

Simon

I would also like to add my thanks to the Ghost Squadron for a great weekend. It was my first aerotow event and I couldn't have asked for any more help from the many knowledgable folk there. Also my first visit to Buckminster and I was most impressed with the site and the condition of the strip - fantastic! Meeting blasts from the past was just the icing and made the whole trip unforgettable. Thanks to all involved.
