Anyhoo, let's play toy planes, here's some more detailed info, the site is thankfully difficult to find (for miscreants) so the attached PDF's should be sufficient to get genuine visitors in ;)

If you have a very large vehicle, there is alternative access to the field, but this will need to be evaulated closer to the time as it is a field and can suffer from heavy rainfall at the entrance. My work van is a MWB Transit and gets through the gate just - the other entrance allows a combine in, so no issues there. Please do keep this thread in mind closer to the date, I'll report on weather and conditions.

Looking forward to meeting you all!

Best regards, Ell.

Dear all,

currently, the forecast for this weekend is strong westerlies, way too strong sadly for aerotowing. If anyone has made arrangements to travel and stay then I'll happily lead an expedition to Rhossilli, somewhere I've been meaning to visit for years.

Please drop me a line ellothowells at btinternet.com if you are planning to come over, obviously if no-one is/does, I'll go kitesurfing instead, now that does need some blow...

Take care and hope to see you in May/June for the re-arranged aerotow.

Ell.

Much as I hated postponing this, we have had ferocious winds last night and today, so looks like it was the right decision.

A new date will be forthcoming.

Cheers, Ell.
