Will be there if possibe, weather dependent as it's quite a long way from the sunny south...!

B&B booked, and:

For those looking for somewhere to stay Booking.com is your friend, centred on Shawbury, many places have a free cancellation option right up to 1st August, so nothing to lose.

Thanks for organising, Chris G

I don't have a suitable model to fly, but I would love to come over and have a look at how it all works. From North Wales, this is more local than most!
If I am able to get there would be good to catch up after a long time Paul!

John, well done for getting the aerotow at Bob Pooler's strip. I know Bob from flying at Sleap. He is a real aviation enthusiast and this is a great opportunity. I am back from holiday so am planning on coming. Regards John.

Gents

Had another chat with the owner today and he is happy for those people travelling a distance to come up on the Friday afternoon or evening and park up ready for Saturday.
Quiet models (electric or gliders only) on Friday night please if you really must fly after your journey.
BBQ's are ok if not directly on the ground, so they don't pose a fire hazard to the grass/hay. Please note the location & directions are in the first post of this thread.
I will be there Friday onwards, so if anyone has any other questions please email me before hand j.minchell@btinternet.com or my mobile is 07989 744251.

Regards John M
