Great day on Saturday, (apart from the loss of our Pik5B ), lovely to be back at Milson and the layout changes have made it even better.

Big thanks to Ray & Mandy and all the tug pilots from the Newent Massif.

A big thank you to Ray for arranging and sorting all the paperwork for what was a fantastic Milson Aerotow. The wider runway that had moved away from the hedge was much appreciated by pilots who had attended previously - let’s hope Chris retains that field layout for future events. Saturday was warm and sunny, with lots of thermals, and it was so encouraging to see about 30 pilots flying - thanks to all those who supported the event. Sadly Sunday was only a half day, as the rain came in after lunch, but still some good flying before then. Our host Chris, was as usual very helpful, and I think very happy with the turnout. I had a great weekend with a nice mix of towing and gliding. I think Ray was worried about lack of tow pilots, but in the end, as well as Ray, Darren Maple, Phil Pearson, Elliot Howells and myself all took turns and it seemed to work well.

So once again, thanks again Ray and all the pilots for making a great weekend, with loads of (mostly!) friendly banter, and only occasional need to contribute to Ray’s ‘special’ swear box

Excellent turnout, a lot of great looking gliders, Saturday was wall to wall sunshine and thermals.

Agreed about the wider strip, hope Chris keeps it like that.

A very well run event, all credit to Ray and the tug pilots.

You shouldn’t need a Vimeo account to view - it is set to public access - I can view it on multiple other devices without logging in.

Anyone else viewed it OK or had problems?
