Just to remind me, this is the middle of October, right.................? Perfect weather if a little thin on thermals but there was lift about.
What a tremendous turn out at Sherlowe today. Real big thanks to John and the hard working tug pilots.

Yeah sorry guys, I must try and keep up so that the queue isn't so long
Great day today. Loved every minute of it.
Oh, and it wasn't just me towing, there were 5 of us, and still we had a queue, must have been good.

Yes, a most enjoyable day of aerotowing and meeting up with "old" faces. The turnout was fantastic and so was the gliding in quite scratchy thermals. Well done on the organisation and great efforts by the tuggies. A special thank you to Ray who manfully kept going all day. Regards John.

Re: Sherlowe Airstrip Aero Tow
Thanks to all who supported the event. We were really lucky for mid October to have no rain at all exept on Saturday night. Special big thanks to all the Tug pilots and just as at the last meeting, tug attrition stopped four of them, but others stepped in with spare tugs to keep the show going. We had 33 people on the Saturday, so a good turnout for the time of year. Thank you to all for the charity contributions we raised £300 to split between the local hospice and air ambulance & Bob and Gill the owners will double that so a great result. See you all next year.
