Well last time I went to Baldock I destroyed my P47 hopefully this time things will be better, if nothing gets in the way I will be there Sunday Morning early and will be bringing this

I don't think I have ever used the clutch or changed gear less in 30 miles, including going through Cambridge entirely in 2nd gear. The smell was impressive and reached Steve in his car following behind. Fortunately we had a very clear and easy run. It is now in my driveway awaiting repair or replacement.
Sad I know but I am very attached to it, having had it from new almost 18 years ago! Otherwise I've never kept a car more than 3 years but this has been so hassle free until now. I have no interest at all in cars as long as they get my planes to the field.......
