Allow myself to ... ah introduce...myself

Post by Rod Cook »

G'day all from Rod in Oz,

My name is Rod Cook. I live in Perth (the Oz Perth, not the Scottish one). I am a retired Air Traffic Controller.

I've been lurking here for a while now, and have finally bitten the bullet (thanks to Cliff's encouragement) and joined up. I have been building models off and on (mostly off, alas) since I was about eight years old (I'm sixty eight). My son who recently qualified as an Aircraft Engineer has rekindled my interest in model aircraft building.

Though I consider myself an "experienced" builder, I note that almost everything has changed since I last took glue to balsa, and have not built anything like a Large Scale Glider before.
I have many questions, so I hope to pick your collective brains for advice. Much to learn have I. I also hope to return the favour by contributing to the Forum in some small way (I already have one article in the works).

I'll post some more details about myself in the Profiles page, but for now...

Wewease Wodney!
