Hello from Barcelona

Hello,

My name is Miquel Àngel Rodríguez, I’m 45 years old and I live close to Barcelona.

Since I was a child (in fact since I have memories) I've been passionate by flying machines, but my favourite ones are the flying wings, the ones I like to fly the most, are flying planks, like the Moth or the M60. Now I’m looking to build a big one, no less than 3m wingspan and 4 m as target, I'm looking what is available, both, as kit or as a plan.

I really enjoy designing and building from scratch my own birds, a few years ago I even started a project for the development of a tandem manned sport flying wing that finally I had to quit (...or postpone):

Currently I fly almost exclusively gliders even if I have all kind of RC aircraft.

I am very lucky, as in Barcelona city we have two slopes were we can fly, usually from April to September/October, when winds are well oriented. My club is Club Velers Collserola (or CVC for short) http://www.clubvelerscollserola.org, it is a 100% soaring club, in the sense that our unique flying fields are slopes (the two I mentioned before). During winter, usually once a month, we fly our gliders on a flat flying field towing our gliders.

If you ever visit Barcelona, do not forget to visit us at our slopes.

I have also a private pilot license.
