Hi Folks,
I'm Jim, just getting back into soaring after 15 years or so flying power models. I am getting my eye in again with a couple of foamies while regretting having put my best scale jobs on eBay many years ago! I am currently putting together a DG1000 from a Far Eastern manufacturer which I hope to get flying soon although the kit quality is shocking and almost every part needs significant reworking so it's taking three times as long as it should! I live in the Midlands, just near Leamington Spa and fly with the South Midlands Soaring Association but hope to do some travelling and explore some bigger slopes further afield.
