Hello everyone.
Delighted to join a niche interest group of accomplished glider designers, builders and guiders.
Recent interest in scale gliders, especially the Sedbergh, that I want th build and fly. Dad used to fly these when in the local Air Cadets equivalent (National Cadet Corps) in early 60's.
Absence of local slopes and consequently slope soaring folks means that I am limited to flat field and air tows.
Haven't done that, but Intend to gain some experience with Multiplex Cularis and suitable tow before hooking on a scale glider behind a tug.
Still torn which one to build. The 1/5 scale or 1/6 scale. Space and other constraints do not permit larger than 1/5
Hope to learn from more experienced folks
