Hi folks
I've been building scale models since 1985 but stopped in early 01 to concentrate on rebuilding full size vintage gliders, 20 gliders later I have 2 T21 gliders for refurb (one went to NZ last year) I have a 1937 kirby kite in for recover and repaint I'm currently build BGA 271 (the grey kite) from original struts control column and an aileron, I also acquired an sheibe SF27A for £200 which I'll be refurbishing, I'm also involved in restoring the world's only Short Nimbus which will be coming to the ulster gliding club in June this year.
As soon as all that is over I'll be building a 1/3 T21 and 1/3 kirby kite.
Cheers.
Owen.

Welcome Owen,
Sounds as if you have plenty to keep you going for a while

Re: New Member
Yes indeed, but I've always maintained my interest in scale gliders and will be building one again in the near future.
