Flying in Northern California.

It does look gorgeous doesn't it. I think there's usually an aerotow strip mowed on the top too. I saw the characteristic outline of the reservoir from a 757 on approach to San Francisco airport last year. Didn't get a chance to drive up. Maybe one day.

Another view of Los Banos - I was there for a slope race in 2000. Great place to fly, but the wind only starts about 2pm daily, so no point in getting there early
