Thanks Cliff. I enjoyed the description of wave lift and its signs. Given a fresh Westerly there's reliable wave at Sutton Bank, offering remarkable height gains. It's good for me because it draws visitors from all over Europe, bringing some really interesting sailplanes.

Very sad day - I have just downloaded the "LAST" edition of Soaring Digest.
I have been reading this e-mag for longer than I'd care to admit. It will be missed.
Thanks to the Kuhlmans' for keeping it going this long, its a credit to you.
I hope someone thinks really hard and decides to pick up the reigns to keep RCSD going. . .
