Hi Cliff,
I've just seen a post from Dave Underwood on his Kirby Kite Facebook page referencing a plan by Jilles that you are bringing to production. Is this correct and if so, can you share some details?
Sean.
(Luckily my wife doesn't look at this forum, and I can swear Baz, Frank and Roger to secrecy!!)

Looks really nice & with an HQ wing section and a nice big tailplane it should be well behaved :)

Hi Cliff,
I met Dave and his dad Peter at the VGC Rally two years ago at Aston Down. They were absolutely fantastic, answering our many questions about his Kite. Dave disappeared at one point and returned with two photo albums full of pictures taken during it's restoration.
Barry Atkinson was there as well and we watched at one point when the Kite was side slipped into a superb landing, looked awesome in the air!!
So, 1/3 is 4.7m, just about perfect I would think!
Put my name down to contact when you're ready to market the kit mate, I'll have to make room for it!
Sean.

Cliff, I must admit, that's very tempting!
Problem is, my available building time varies so much because I'm self employed, I wouldn't want to let you or other potential builders down waiting for the completed model.
I'm sure that the Kite will be a fantastic kit, I know Barry Atkinson is very impressed with your Olly prototype that he has nearing completion.
