Wow that makes for truely depressing reading. I guess there is no point in doing the usual ranting and raving found on other forums but it really is frustrating that the people in officialdom seem incapable of listening to reason.
The potential "protection" offered via Clubs is the reason I recently agreed to join the committee of our local model flying club but it does seem all too easy for the modest concessions to the model aeroplane community to be removed further down the line.
Without getting too political I wish bmfa members had been given the choice of voting on whether to spend £1,000's on a National flying centre that will only be of benefit to a small geographical region versus spending the money on a professional lobbying force.....

Does 120m max height apply even if you are flying as part of an association?
