SG-1 Sailplane by Vic Steel

Hi All,
Has anyone ever built or flown one of these.
I am currently building one and have a couple of queries regarding the plan and any advise would be welcome.

Hi Cliff,
Thanks for your reply,
I was wondering if anyone knew what wing profile was used as printing out a set of ribs in Compufoil would be much simpler and more accurate that tracing from the plan. There are a couple of very obvious errors with the fin leading edge and stern posts which become apparent after cutting out the ribs for the fin I was wondering if there were other issues that are not quite so obvious or easily rectify. Also in the build article in RCM&E in 2011 there was a mention that the CG was to far forward again I am wondering if this has been corrected on the drawing.

Thanks again

Joe
