Hi all,

Whilst I have signed and fully agree with the sentiments of the petition, can I ask why it was raised on Change.org?

Should we use the Government petition service here: https://www.gov.uk/petition-government

If we can raise 10,000 signatures there, Government must answer the petition.

Hi Cliff

I agree, the more places we can petition and the more advocates we can attract the better!

It would be nice to get a single coordinated petition so that modellers don’t get asked to sign in multiple places.

I’ve emailed BMFA today and asked if they will draft a petition, given their standing, involvement and their ability to reach out to all BMFA members.

Meanwhile, I’ve endorsed Cliffs’ petition, thanks for your efforts Cliff!

Update from BMFA:

The BMFA may raise a petition in the future, but want all of us to write to MPs, dOFT and the CAA as well.

I have just written to the CAA, Doft and my local MP.
I hope many other spend a few minutes to let them all know our feeling,
whether anything would come of our efforts is another thing.
