Interesting photo Vince, If I am reading it correctly ,The man in the foreground has all the gliders weight while supporting the tailplane, The 'passengers' :roll: legs have gone through the underbelly and is running like hell to get it up to speed, and the guy on the starboard wing has hung on and going for a ride.But then I think the Wombles are real. :lol: :lol:

Looks like the Long Mynd to me? They still bungee launch there, given enough wind...

I'm fairly sure it is the Mynd Rog and I've done that with a Kite there some years ago - sometime in the 80's I seem to remember.

There was a good 20knots + on the hill mind you.

I also remember the CFI wasn't too chuffed.

I guess if windspeed > stalling speed, VTOL is an option.... :D
