Im fancying a go at designing and building a vintage glider from scratch, but where do you start?
Are there any books on the subject? How do you draw a plan? Which aerofoil? etc etc
Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: How to design and build a glider.
Chris Williams has written a very informative article on the subject which can be located on this very site https://scalesoaring.co.uk/from-razorplane/, there is also the Cliff Charlesworth book available from Sarik.
As for source material, possibly the Martin Simons "Sailplanes" availble here https://eqip.de/en/

Thanks for replies. I do have the books mentioned so will need to read again Cliff's book and also
Chris's article. I assume hand drawn plans are good enough and using techniques from other plans is ok.
Lot to learn here me thinks!
