If anyone's still bored with this weather, then there is a 6 minute highlight compilation from last week. The third plane landing is a Jumbo and it's fascinating watching the wings bending just like our gliders do, but then he nearly stuffs the left hand outboard engine on the ground after landing.

Ray, I am afraid our plane spotter is talking b------s for dramatic effect. The no 1 engine was not really in danger of a pod scrape on that landing. Regards John.

Very challenging conditions. That is why they paid us the money. The heart rates in that Flight Deck would be quite high and it would be a Captain's Landing. Regards John.
