Pat Teakle Gliders

I have just had a call from Phil at Cloud Models to say that he does not want to produce the wings for the Pat Teakle range anymore. This at present effectively shuts down Pat Teakle Gliders. I am looking at producing built-up versions of the wings for all kits this is going to take some time though and until they are ready and tested Pat Teakle Gliders will be closed. Unless, I can find someone to produce foam wings. Very sorry but this is beyond my control.

Sorry to hear that Cliff,may be the end of an era. I like many of the scale flyers today cut my teeth on a teakle kit.Many a time went round Pats small workshop to pick them up. Also to Johns workshop to watch him make a fuselage for Pats models. Hope this is not the end.
Have you thought of a fus-laser cut wing- plan-pack. That would be the perfect mix of 'glass kit assembly and old timer long build' Just a thought. May help those who cant afford the complete glass kits at the present time. Regards terry.

Yes Terry, bit of a bolt out of the blue, no warnings at all! Just setting up the built wings on the Pat Teakle site now.

Just spoken to Geoff at Foamwings. He is having some time off for an operation but when he gets back we will be in discussions regarding foam wings! I have however now got all kits in the range ready to supply with parts for built-up wings and tail surfaces. Site is now back up and running.
