Re: Images
Yes CE, like that (though perhaps a little transparency - its a watermark )
The key with the contrasting light/dark is that it can be seen on any background. The shadow edge with transparent/light text from CW's pic would still likely blend in to some backgrounds (see the area "under" the canopy - it blends)

Re: Images
That's right, I just couldn't find a hard edge in my old version of P/shop...!

Re: Images
Trouble is it is done via a plugin. The writer will update so that the watermark can be placed differently until then it will stay as-is.

Re: Images
Not sure if this is related Cliff but I'm having trouble putting a post together with images. The images load but don't show as attachments in the draft and then display randomly out of synch with the text on a preview. Maybe it's not related to this, maybe it's some other issue or maybe it's me??

Re: Images
It will not be related Stephen. You will not see the images in the draft. If you click place inline, you will see the place holder in the draft but only when you publish will you see the pictures.

Re: Images
Thanks Cliff, I couldn't see the placeholder text in the draft, when I went to preview everything was jumbled up and made no sense so I abandoned it. Must have been me, I'll put it down to the wine
Just had another attempt and all is fine.

Re: Images
The "watermark plugin" has been improved after my request to the writer I have now positioned the watermark in the middle of pictures and made it a little more transparent. You will see when you post images.

Re: Images
Thanks for your efforts Cliff but I find the positioning across the middle of the subject significantly reduces the clarity of the image. I accept it’s a personal thing.

Re: Images
I don't think it is a significant difference! The idea is to stop people from leaching the photos and using them without giving us any credit! I have now made it slightly more transparent.
Thoughts please gentlemen!
