Aluminium building jig.

Post by Max Wright »

Hi All

I saw a building jig made from two pieces of aluminium angle, in a thread here. It looked very good, but I'm blowed if I can find the reference to it again.

Question: Will it be suitable for building my soon to arrive, laser cut sailplanes Motor Falke kit?

If so, could some kind person please put me out of my misery and point me at the link? :?

Thank you.

Thanks, Peter.

The Bridson Jig looks elegant. I work with aluminium extrusions a bit - and I use them for straight edges. They are usually very reliable.

Perhaps Cliff Evans could chime in if he thinks that it would be suitable.

The Bridson Jig is a well-proven method so, yes, I would agree as I think would most members.

Fantastic! Thanks, Cliff.

While you're there . . I haven't mastered the image icon.

After I click on the icon, how do I browse for the image from my files?

Cheers

Max, you can just drag and drop a file from your desktop directly in to the post you're writing and then select "place in line" from the options below your text box.

Thanks, Stephen.

I've been on a lot of forums, but never seen that before.

I'll give it a go . . .
