Schempp Hirths very first ever glider series, the Gö 1 Wolf, will again take to the skies on Friday 24th July following a full restoration of a glider brought back from South Africa. You can read about the restoration here:

The glider was sold in America and Japan and was demonstrated by Wolf Hirth himself. Here are photos of him in Japan, does the wing remind you of anything?
Finally, here is an excellent 3-view if you want to build a model

Re: The Wolf flies again
Hi Vince,
what great news that an original Wolf will fly again.
Nice drawings too.
The Wolf had the outer wing and ailerons modified to address spin issues I believe - perhaps you can confirm that the drawing shows the glider as modified. I think the modification was quite time consuming and expensive and that many Wolfs were grounded and never modified (is that correct ?).
My impression is that like the Grunau Baby, the shape of the nose varied somewhat, although I would hesitate to say what was the typical shape. Photos of the Wolf do not seem very common so this also makes comment about the nose difficult.
